Service Overview
What You Need to Know
What Is This Service?
We install, replace, and upgrade radiators of all types — panel radiators, column radiators, towel rails, and designer radiators. Services include BTU calculations, pipework modifications, TRV fitting, and full system balancing after installation.
Who Is It For?
Homeowners with cold rooms, anyone extending or renovating, landlords upgrading rental properties, and anyone wanting to improve their home's heating efficiency or interior aesthetics.
When Do You Need It?
When a room won't heat properly, when you're building an extension, when radiators are old and corroded, when you want to upgrade to modern designer radiators, or when adding heating to a converted space.
Why Use a Professional?
Incorrect radiator sizing causes cold rooms and wasted energy. Incorrect installation causes leaks, air locks, and unbalanced systems. Professional fitting ensures the right output for each room and reliable operation.
Don't Ignore the Signs
Why Old or Wrong-Sized Radiators Cost You Money
- !Undersized radiators — a radiator too small for the room never reaches the set temperature, no matter how high you turn it up. Your boiler runs constantly, wasting gas.
- !Corroded radiators — internal corrosion causes pinhole leaks that damage flooring and walls, plus sludge that circulates and damages your boiler.
- !No TRVs fitted — without thermostatic valves, you can't control individual room temperatures. You're heating rooms you're not using and wasting money.
- !Cold extensions — converted garages, loft conversions, and new extensions often lack adequate radiators, making them uncomfortable from October to April.
- !Single-panel relics — old single-panel radiators from the 1980s output 40-50% less heat than modern double-panel convectors of the same size.
Our Process
How It Works
Room Assessment
We calculate the exact BTU requirement for each room — considering dimensions, insulation, window area, and exposure — to determine the correct radiator size.
Radiator Selection
We help you choose the right type, size, and style of radiator for your space, heating needs, and budget.
Installation
We fit the radiator, connect pipework (modifying or extending as needed), and install TRVs for individual temperature control.
System Balancing
We balance the entire heating system to ensure every radiator receives the correct flow rate for even heat distribution.
Leak Test & Handover
Every connection is pressure tested and checked for leaks. We verify full heat output before we leave your property.

In Detail
Radiator Types and Choosing the Right One
Modern panel radiators come in single-panel (Type 11), double-panel single-convector (Type 21), and double-panel double-convector (Type 22) configurations. Type 22 radiators deliver the highest heat output per square metre and are our most recommended option for living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways.
Column radiators offer a traditional or industrial aesthetic and are popular in period properties across Warwickshire. Available in 2-column, 3-column, and 4-column designs with various heights. Cast iron column radiators provide excellent heat retention but have longer warm-up times.
Designer and vertical radiators are ideal for rooms with limited wall space — narrow hallways, kitchens, and modern open-plan living areas. Tall, slim designs fit into spaces where conventional radiators won't, while still delivering adequate heat output.
Heated towel rails are essential in bathrooms. We install both central heating-connected towel rails (which work with your boiler) and dual-fuel models that operate independently during summer months when your heating is off.
For every installation across Nuneaton, Bedworth, Coventry, Solihull, Tamworth, and surrounding areas, we perform a full BTU calculation considering room volume, insulation quality, window area, and compass exposure. This prevents both undersizing (cold rooms) and oversizing (wasted energy).
